Introduction
The project involved creating a brand identity for AIMMO over three iterations. The main challenge was identifying the right target group and ensuring a professional, consistent brand across all assets. The brand had to be flexible enough to adapt to the changing business goals, focusing on small to middle-sized businesses with the handover protocol.
Role
PrBrand manager and project leader.
Team
- Gabika: Brand designer
- Alexandra: Illustrator
- Marcel: Marketing manager
Problem Statement
The challenge was to build a unique, consistent brand that communicates professionalism in the software real estate industry and is flexible enough to adapt to constant business changes.
Approach/Methodology
Similar to product development, a best practice approach was used, designing a first version of the brand and iterating along the way while refining the product. Research with prospects during the sales process provided market feedback on how the brand was received.
Implementation
- **Initial Design:** Created by myself to show professionalism during customer testing.
- **Freelancer Experts:** Hired experts in offline and online design and an illustrator to create unique brand elements. An online marketing expert was added to the team to ensure comprehensive coverage of assets and help pivot the brand towards the right target group.
- **Second Iteration:** Consistent application of the brand to many online and offline assets, with minor alterations to maintain brand consistency.

Example
A timeline of brand changes will be provided. Positive feedback from prospects and customers regarding the brand presentation and implementation highlights its success.
Results
While hard to measure with objective figures, feedback from prospects and customers towards customer success managers and sales managers has been very positive and benevolent.
Reflection
The first impression is crucial to clients and prospects. For future ventures, I might reduce the level of perfectionism initially but would still insist on building a consistent brand from the beginning, as it builds trust and seriousness even in the early days of a venture.
